1983 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet
Produced for one year only, the 911 SC Cabriolet is rare among impact bumper cars. It was the last year for the 3.0 liter SC CIS injected engine and the first year of the new Cabriolet body style. Our car has factory sport seats and a few updates, such as pressure fed 3.2 Carrera chain tensioners, pop off valve, H1 headlights and chrome rings, 3.2 Carrera front air dam, CD player, amplifier, custom speakers and MOMO steering wheel.
It is a 4 owner car that has spent much of its time in the bay area. The body shows typical wear and tear. The car was repainted by a previous owner. The respray is not perfect (at least not by Cars Dawydiak standard). A few prep flaws show through on the drivers door, quarter panels and front bumper. The soft top was replaced by the previous owner. The canvas and plastic window are in good condition, but there are some small cuts in the top. The odometer was replaced in 2007 with another unit. The current total on the car is 155000 miles. The engine, gearbox and differential are all original and not rebuilt. The AC blows cold. A safety inspection will be available as well as recent service records and Carfax report
