2001 Qvale Mangusta

The owner recently had BMC replace the original T45 5 speed with an upgraded 6-speed manual and a lightweight flywheel so the engine revs much faster than stock. The original engine was also replaced with a brand new unit less than 2k miles ago by BMC.
Only 284 Qvale Mangustas were sold from 2000-02. Equipped with a 320-hp, 4.6L 4-Cam V8, 5-Speed manual gearbox, Brembo brakes and double wishbone independent suspension front and rear. The body is constructed of RTM plastic panels, the same as used on the Alfa Romeo SZ and Lotus Elan M100. It can be configured as a coupe, targa or convertible. Designed by Marcello Gandini, who also penned the Lamborghini Countach LP400 among other famous sports cars. This same chassis was later used by MG for the X-Power SV.
